Director of Highways Mak Chai-kwong today signed a $480-million contract on behalf of the Government with Gammon Construction for the care of high-speed roads in the New Territories East and on Hong Kong Island.
The contract covers April 2005 to March 2013. Works mainly comprise the management and maintenance of the roads, including associated slopes, structures, street furniture and some minor improvement works.
