Ma Yau Tong conservation area rezoned

*

The Town Planning Board has amended the approved Tseng Lan Shue Outline Zoning Plan, rezoning an area near the Sunnyside School in Ma Yau Tong from "Conservation Area" to "Green Belt" and "Residential (Group D)".

The amendment reflects its existing situation and encourages improvement of the area through redevelopment.

Other proposed amendments include the rezoning of an area in Pak Shek Wo San Tsuen from "Residential (Group D)" to "Residential (Group C) 3" to reflect an approved residential development.

The draft Tseng Lan Shue Outline Zoning Plan No. S/SK-TLS/6, incorporating the amendments, is now available for public inspection during normal office hours at the following locations:

* Secretariat of the Town Planning Board, 15th Floor, North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point;

* Sai Kung District Planning Office, 14th Floor, Sha Tin Government Offices, 1 Sheung Wo Che Road, Sha Tin;

* Sai Kung District Office, 2nd Floor, Sai Kung Government Offices, 34 Chan Man Street, Sai Kung; and

* Hang Hau Rural Committee, 1 Hang Hau Road, Clear Water Bay, Sai Kung.

Anyone affected by the amendments may submit a written objection to the Town Planning Board Secretary on or before September 2.

Copies of the draft plan are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North Point and Yau Ma Tei. The electronic version can be downloaded from the board's website.
