Hong Kong will host the 10th International Symposium on Vessel Traffic Services from February 10 to 13, at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Jointly organised by the Marine Department and the International Association of Marine Aids to Navigation & Lighthouse Authorities, the symposium will focus on the importance of harmonising people and technology for effective vessel traffic operations.

In the symposium, international experts on port management and the industry will explore and share the latest developments and technological advances in vessel traffic services with the goal of improving navigation safety and efficiency.

Papers covering current and future applications of vessel traffic services will also be presented.
