The Buildings Department approved 15 building plans in August - five on Hong Kong Island, four in Kowloon and six in the New Territories.
The declared cost of the new buildings completed in August totalled about $3.71 billion.
Of the approved plans, two were for apartment and apartment/commercial developments, two were for commercial development, one was for factory and industrial developments and 10 were for community services developments.
In the same month, consent was given for work to start on 22 building projects that, on completion, will provide 34,710 square metres of usable domestic floor area and 121,726 square metres of usable non-domestic floor area.
The department also issued 13 occupation permits - one on Hong Kong Island, seven in Kowloon and five in the New Territories.
Of the buildings certified for occupation, there were 170,936 square metres of usable floor areas for domestic uses and 45,092 square metres for non-domestic uses.
