Ma Wan site to be reviewed after bids rejected

The Government has rejected two bids for the tender for a recreational site at Ma Wan, the Lands Department announced today.

 

The bids, from Perfect Target Enterprises Ltd and Snow World Hong Kong Ltd, were received when the tender closed on March 21.

 

An assessment panel recommended rejecting them after it considered their premium and non-premium aspects in accordance with the provisions outlined in the tender documents.

 

The Lands Department  will review the short- and long-term use of the Ma Wan site, currently zoned for recreation and tourism-related uses.
