The Centre for Health Protection today confirmed an influenza A outbreak in a Sha Tin seniors home involving 21 residents aged 74 to 96.

The group - 12 men and nine women - have been sick with fever, coughing and sore throat since August 23.

All patients are in stable condition, with 16 of them in hospital.
