The Food & Environmental Hygiene Department has launched the second phase of its annual anti-mosquito campaign. It will run until early July.

All identified and potential breeding places for the vector mosquitoes will be treated. Special attention will be paid to areas close to residences, schools, construction sites, housing estates and hospitals.

Other departments will help disseminate health education messages to the public using their services and launch weekly mosquito inspection programmes to eliminate breeding places under their ambits.
