Seasonal flu shot schemes to close
*
Department of Health

Seasonal influenza vaccinations under the Government Vaccination Programme, Elderly Vaccination Subsidy Scheme and Childhood Influenza Vaccination Subsidy Scheme will end April 30, the Department of Health says.

Surveillance by the Centre for Health Protection shows a decreasing trend in seasonal flu activity, signalling the traditional peak season has passed.

The seasonal flu vaccination programme and subsidy schemes started October 19. Up to April 18, a total of 505,706 doses of flu vaccines had been administered under the schemes.

The human swine flu vaccination programme and subsidy scheme will continue until expiry of the vaccines. Click here for details or call 2125 2125.
