A 73-year-old woman who had a human swine flu vaccination is in critical condition after being hospitalised for weakness in her hands and feet, the Centre for Health Protection says.
She developed numbness in her hands and feet on March 4. She was admitted to Kwong Wah Hospital on March 11.
She was inoculated at a public out-patient clinic on December 31. Investigations are underway to ascertain whether she has Guillain Barre Syndrome or other neurological conditions.
