2nd Legionnaires' disease case reported

A 79-year-old Kennedy Town man is recovering from the year's second reported case of Legionnaires' disease.

 

The Centre for Health Protection said today he came down with a fever, cough, tiredness and breathing difficulties on January 17 and was admitted to Queen Mary Hospital two days later. His condition is now stable. He had no recent travel history.

 

There were 37 cases last year.
