People are urged to stop using a product called Bao Shu Tang Wu Zi Yan Zong Wan which contains excessive lead.

The Department of Health said today chronic exposure to lead leads to anaemia, joint and muscle pain, and brain and kidney damage.

The department has ordered wholesaler, Wah Sheng Medical, to recall the product and has opened a public enquiry hotline 2548 3811.
