Publicity drive: The Fire Services Department's Mobile Publicity Unit will traverse Hong Kong promoting fire safety.

The Fire Services Department will hold a series of roving exhibitions across Hong Kong to raise fire safety awareness.

The first location will be on Siu Sai Wan Road, Chai Wan, near Island Resort Shopping Arcade tomorrow afternoon.

The exhibition will then move to Fuk Wah Street near Golden Building, Sham Shui Po, on January 25, and then to Hing Ning Road near Kwai Chung Plaza, Kwai Fong, on January 29.

The department's Mobile Publicity Unit will house the exhibits, aided by computerised multimedia facilities like touch-screen computers with fire-safety tips, data on major fires, and the department's equipment.

Fire-service installations like hose-reels, fire-detection and automatic fire-alarm systems, and assorted portable extinguishers will also be displayed.

Officers will be present to answer queries on fire safety.
