A 36-year-old woman confirmed to have human swine flu died at United Christian Hospital yesterday.

She collapsed in a shopping arcade December 15 and was sent to the hospital in critical condition.

She had a fever and severe pneumonia. Her condition worsened and she died about 4am yesterday.

The case has been referred to the coroner.
