A drug news bulletin made its online debut, to update healthcare professionals and pharmaceutical traders about drug safety information.

The monthly newsletter, entitled Drug News, provides a summary of local and overseas drug safety news.

Health professionals and drug traders can make use of the information and provide corresponding advice and therapeutic measures to patients and customers.

The first issue highlights drug safety information from overseas drug authorities, recent drug recalls, warnings about slimming products with undeclared drug ingredients as well as medical advice on stopping products containing an undeclared steroid.
