All 49 Hong Kong Flower Show 2010 commercial stalls were successfully let at an auction today for $1.993 million. They include 38 goods stalls, six fast-food stalls, four dry-food stalls and a bookstall.
Bid prices for the 34 smaller goods stalls ranged from $28,600 to $43,000 with an average price of $34,353, while those of the four bigger ones ranged from $55,100 to $70,000, reaching $63,300 on average.
Four fast-food stalls were let at prices ranging $25,000 to $32,000, averaging $27,125. Another two fast-food stalls, with a subsidiary stall, saw bid prices of $42,000 and $43,000.
Bid prices for the dry-food stalls ranged from $85,800 to $97,000 with an average of $91,725, while the bookstall was let at the upset price of $11,470.
The 10-day flower show will be held March 19 to 28 at Victoria Park.
