Performers from the countries and regions participating in the 5th East Asian Games will take part in a fun-filled carnival at the Cultural Centre December 12.

The EAG Cultural Extravaganza will start at 1.30pm featuring rhythmic drum shows, folk dance and other arts programmes. Local arts groups will deliver puppetry performances and Cantonese opera.

A series of demonstrations will showcase the traditional crafts of Shaanxi and the food culture of East Asia. Together with games stalls, the free carnival will offer the experience of an East Asian cultural exchange.
