The Centre for Health Protection is investigating a gastroenteritis outbreak affecting 18 residents and three staff at a Sha Tin elderly home.

The three men and 18 women, aged 24 to 96, have come down with gastroenteritis symptoms since November 15. All are stable.

Three have tested positive for norovirus.

Centre officers have visited the home and provided health advice to its staff.
