A 76-year-old man confirmed to be infected with human swine flu and with a history of chronic obstructive airway disease and hypertension has died at North District Hospital.

He came down with flu symptoms October 30 and attended the hospital that day. He was admitted to the isolation ward and became critically ill November 18. He died at 10.15am today.
