Endangered species expo to launch

The black and white ruffed lemur

Precious breed: The black and white ruffed lemur is one of the endangered species bred at the Zoological & Botanical Gardens.

*

A roving exhibition on endangered animals will be held at six Leisure & Cultural Services Department parks until January 3.

 

It will run at the Zoological & Botanical Gardens tomorrow until November 29. The facility has successfully bred endangered species like the ring-tailed lemur, black and white ruffed lemur, buff-cheeked gibbon, Hawaiian goose and red-crowned crane.

 

Educational talks on endangered animals and games will be held for visitors at the facility from 10am to 4pm tomorrow and Sunday.

 

The exhibition will move to Hong Kong Park November 30 to December 6, Yuen Long Park December 7 to 13, Tuen Mun Park December 14 to 20, Tai Po Waterfront Park December 21 to 27, and Kowloon Park December 28 to January 3.
