Swine flu hotline service adjusted
*
Centre for Health Protection

The Centre for Health Protection will adjust the hours of its human swine flu telephone enquiry service - 2125 1111 - on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from October 24.

Service hours for these days will change to 9am to 1pm; however, its 9am to 6pm weekday operation will continue.

The centre said the change was made due to the recent fall in the number of calls received, particularly during weekends.

The public can leave views and enquiries on the voicemail service for staff to handle as soon as practicable, or check the latest swine flu situation by viewing the Swine & Seasonal Flu Monitor weekly update on the centre's website.

More than 22,800 enquiries have been handled since the telephone enquiry service started operation in April.
