Buddhist Hospital nurse gets swine flu

A Hong Kong Buddhist Hospital medical ward nurse is among the newly confirmed 57 human swine flu cases which involve 33 men and 24 women aged five months to 57 years, bringing Hong Kong's total tally to 1,112.

 

Shatin Tsung Tsin Secondary School will start its summer break tomorrow after three Form 4 students, two 15-year-old girls and a 16-year-old boy, were confirmed to be infected.

 

The Department of Health has so far advised 43 secondary schools with confirmed swine flu cases to suspend classes or start their summer break.

 

The 76-year-old man who was seriously ill with swine flu at Prince of Wales Hospital today improved to stable condition.
