Senior ill with Legionnaires' disease

Centre for Health Protection

The Centre for Health Protection today confirmed the year's 13th case of Legionnaires' disease involving an 84-year-old woman in Ho Man Tin.

 

She came down with fever, chills and cough on July 2 and was admitted to Kwong Wah Hospital three days later. She is now stable.

 

She had no recent travel history and her family have no symptoms.
