The Home Affairs Bureau is set to launch a citywide dress-up programme promoting the East Asian Games.
The drive will see the erection of banners on lampposts and footbridges along Hong Kong's main thoroughfares, along with billboards at prominent locations.
Announcing the drive today Permanent Secretary for Home Affairs Carrie Yau said: "We are looking forward to the support of the whole community for what promises to be an exciting and spectacular event for Hong Kong."
