The Centre for Food Safety urges people not to eat three types of frozen chicken meals made by Nestle Prepared Foods Company due to possible contamination with small pieces of hard plastic.
The American company is recalling the affected products which have been exported to Hong Kong and the trade has been asked not to sell them.
The products are:
* Lean Cuisine Pesto Chicken with Bow Tie Pasta, 9.5 ounce, production code 8280595912, best before date May 2010;
* Lean Cuisine Chicken Mediterranean, 10.5 ounce, production code 8231595912 or 8241595912, best before date September 2010, or of production code 8263595912, 8269595911 or 8274595912, best before date October 2010, or of production code 8291595912 or 8301595912, best before date November 2010; and,
* Lean Cuisine Chicken Tuscan, 12.5 ounce, production code 8234595911 and best before date September 2009, or of production code 8253595911 or 8269595912, best before date October 2009, or of production code 8292595911 or 8296595911 and best before date November 2009.
