Anthony Wu has been re-appointed Hospital Authority Chairman, the Food & Health Bureau says. Five new members have been appointed to the board while five serving members have been re-appointed.

The new members are solicitor Chan Bing-woon, Prof Lee Sum-ping of the University of Hong Kong, Hospital Authority Operations Manager Queenie Leung, Prof George Woo of Polytechnic University and chartered surveyor Stephen Yip. Click here for their biographical details.

The re-appointed incumbent members are Vivien Chan, Prof Fok Tai-fai, Dr Joseph Lee, John Lee and Dr Donald Li.

All appointments will take effect from December 1 for two years.

Secretary for Food & Health Dr York Chow thanked outgoing members Edward Ho, who has served for six years, and Dr Polly Lau for their advice and contribution to authority.

The authority has a chairman, 21 non-official members, three public officers and a principal officer from the authority.
