Tsang Tak-sing with an awardee
Service recognition: Secretary for Home Affairs Tsang Tak-sing presents a commendation  to an awardee.
*

Secretary for Home Affairs Tsang Tak-sing has presented commendations to 113 people for their contributions to community building and social services.

At the presentation ceremony today, Mr Tsang said the awardees have been actively participating in community services and committed to striving for people's well-being to foster a harmonious society.

Mr Tsang urged them to continue building on their strengths in helping the Government improve people's livelihood, and aiding the underprivileged and the young.

"I believe if we unite, we can turn challenges into opportunities to build a better tomorrow for Hong Kong," he said, adding their commitment and selfless contributions well deserve commendation.

A total of 682 distinguished people have been awarded commendation certificates in the past six years under the Secretary for Home Affairs' Commendation Scheme. Click here for details.
