The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed this year's 93rd Enterovirus-71 case, involving a 42-year-old woman.
She developed sore throat and mouth ulcers on November 6 and she is now stable.
She has not travelled abroad recently and her four-year-old son was confirmed to have been infected with EV71 earlier. Her other family members did not show any symptoms.
