The Centre for Food Safety has found a sample of Munchy's The Original Sugar Crackers to contain excessive melamine and has asked the trade to stop selling them.

The sample came from a 380g pack containing three individual packs with an expiry date of July 15, 2009. The level of melamine detected was 4ppm.
