Melamine found in Julie's wheat crackers

Centre for Food Safety

The Centre for Food Safety today announced a sample of Julie's Wheat Crackers contained excessive melamine and asked the trade to stop selling them.

 

The sample came from a 350g pack containing 14 individual packs with an expiry date of August 9, 2009. The level of melamine detected was 5.8ppm.
