The Centre for Food Safety today confirmed a sample of White Rabbit Creamy Candies 454g pack with an expiry date of November 20, 2009, contained excessive melamine.

The level detected was 16ppm, high above the legal limit of 2.5ppm for sweets. It is the same brand found to contain melamine yesterday.

The centre has asked shops to stop selling the products and the importer has recalled them.
