Swimming and tennis have been added to the 2nd Hong Kong Games which will be held May 9 to 31 next year. The other four sports of the biennial event are athletics, badminton, basketball and table tennis.

There will be open recruitment for athletes to represent each of Hong Kong's 18 districts.

Promotions like a photo contest and cheerleading competition will also be held to encourage participation in the games.
