17 ill in food poisoning cases

Centre for Health Protection

The Centre for Health Protection is investigating two food poisoning cases affecting 17 people who ate at restaurants in Sheung Wan and Tung Chung.

 

Three groups of people, comprising two men and five women aged 23 to 55 fell ill after eating at the Sheung Wan restaurant on July 17.

 

Four men and six women aged 27 to 43 fell ill after eating at the Tung Chung restaurant on July 31.

 

People should observe good personal, food and environmental hygiene to prevent food-borne diseases.
