Lower income public housing tenants will pay no rent for the next three months under the Government's inflation-mitigation measures.

The Housing Authority today said the rent waiver for August, September and October will benefit 620,000 tenants.

The move does not apply to tenants paying additional rent but they will continue to benefit from the Government's rates concession for the whole year, it said.
