Voluntary registration set for drinks, baby food
*
Centre for Food Safety

The pre-statutory voluntary registration scheme will be extended to non-alcoholic beverages, alcohol, infant formulas and baby food on August 1, the Centre for Food Safety says.

Importers and distributors can register with the centre their business registration numbers, addresses, phone numbers and person-in-charge. For details click here.

The centre said the scheme will be extended to other food items like sugars, sweets and snacks in phases in September and October.

The list of registered importers and distributors will be made available here. For enquiries call 2156 3040.
