June saw the comprehensive social security assistance caseload fall 0.2% on May, to 283,918 cases involving 487,233 recipients, the Social Welfare Department says.
Jobless cases fell 0.4% in June to 31,011, while single-parent and low-earning cases also dropped 0.1% and 0.4%, to 36,476 and 16,656.
Old-age cases fell 0.2% to 151,435, while permanent-disability cases dropped 0.3% to 17,746.
