The Home Affairs Department launched a dedicated website on social enterprises today to enhance public awareness and understanding of these bodies.

The site provides information on products and services social enterprises provide, and their contacts, support services available to these enterprises and past events and activities.

The department said access to such information will promote social enterprises' formation and development.

It called on the business sector to participate in more social enterprise projects to enhance social cohesion and form a more caring culture.
