The Centre for Health Protection is investigating a suspected food poisoning case involving 10 Southern District primary students.
Four boys and six girls, aged eight to 12, developed abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhoea and fever after consuming lunch at school on June 18. Two sought medical treatment from private doctors and none was hospitalised.
The centre reminds the public, especially food handlers, to observe good personal and environmental hygiene to prevent food-borne disease.
