The Department of Health has warned consumers not to buy or consume anti-impotence products Lover Liquid Nutriment Herbal Supplement, and Onyo, which contain undeclared drug ingredients that can cause serious side effects.

They contain sildenafil, acetildenafil and pseudovardenafil.

The department seized a box of Lover Liquid Nutriment Herbal Supplement and 367 boxes of Onyo from retailers and distributors today.

Sildenafil and vardenafil are usually used for treating male sexual dysfunction and can cause low blood pressure, headache, vomiting, dizziness and vision disturbances. They can interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs causing dangerously low blood pressure.

People should not take the products, and seek treatmnent if they have.
