Consumers are urged not to eat certain batches of D'elitte chorizo as the company is recalling the products which are suspected to be contaminated with salmonella.

The two affected products are D'elitte Chorizo Picante Extra and D'elitte Chorizo Suave Extra. Both in 200g packs, the former carries batch number 189/07 and a best-before date of February 2009, and the latter 26/08 and March 2009.
