Cattle Capsule
Safety alert: Consumers should not buy or consume an anti-impotence product called Cattle Capsule as it contains sildenafil which may cause serious side effects.

The Department of Health warns consumers not to buy or consume an anti-impotence product called Cattle Capsule as it contains sildenafil which may cause serious side effects.

The department got a sample from a Mong Kok shop for tests and found the product contains sildenafil. Department staff returned to the shop this afternoon and seized 27 bottles of the product.

Sildenafil is usually used for treating male sexual dysfunction and its side effects include low blood pressure, headache, vomiting, dizziness, and blurred vision.

It may interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs and may lower blood pressure to dangerous levels.

Anyone who has bought the product should not take it. They should seek advice from their doctors if feeling unwell after consuming the product. For enquiries, call 2572 2068.
