The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed the year's fourth Enterovirus-71 case involving a two-year-old boy who fell ill after visiting the Mainland April 4 to 6.
He developed a fever and oral ulcers on April 8 and later a rash on his arms and legs.
He was admitted to Princess Margaret Hospital on April 12 and discharged two days later. His 13-year-old brother came down with a rash today.
There were eight, 16 and 12 cases of EV-71 infections reported in 2005, 2006 and 2007.
