The Centre for Health Protection has received two reports of influenza-like illness outbreaks involving a male medical ward at Prince of Wales Hospital and a Tuen Mun secondary school, affecting 15 people in total.

The 11 hospital patients aged 31 to 91 have tested positive for influenza A. One of them has been discharged. The affected students are three girls and one boy, all aged 13.
