New swimming season to start
*
Leisure & Cultural Services Department

The new swimming season will start April 1 with public pools opening in three sessions daily from 6.30am to 10pm with two breaks.

To tie in with the ferry schedule Mui Wo Swimming Pool will open from 8.30am to 10pm with two breaks. Click here for details of opening hours.

Apart from daily routine cleansing, each pool will be closed for weekly cleaning. This will be conducted on a designated weekday from 10am to the end of the second session, unless it falls on a public holiday.

This arrangement has been on trial since July last year and has been well received by the public. For details click here.

The Leisure & Cultural Services Department urged swimmers to keep public pools clean. They should maintain personal and environmental hygiene by observing pool rules and should not go in the water if they feel unwell.

Fourteen pools will be temporarily closed for annual maintenance. Click here for more details.
