A 55-year-old North Point woman has recovered after being infected with Dengue fever during a Thailand trip February 5 to 11.

The Centre for Health Protection said she came down with a headache and a rash on February 13 and was admitted to a Hong Kong Island private hospital on February 20. She was discharged today.

It is this year's seventh imported case. Last year there were 58 cases, all imported.

The centre urged people to stay alert to the threat of Dengue fever and to take measures to prevent mosquito breeding. Those feeling unwell after travel should consult a doctor as soon as possible.
