Man ill with Dengue fever
*
Centre for Health Protection

The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed a Dengue fever case involving a 22-year-old Hung Hom man who fell ill after visiting Thailiand, bringing the year's total to six, all imported.

He was in the country from January 31 to February 9 and developed fever, headache and muscle pain on February 14. Rashes were found on his body five days later and he sought medical treatment from Queen Elizabeth Hospital. No hospitalisation was required.
