Permanent Secretary for Home Affairs Carrie Yau has led a delegation to the nation's capital to meet the Beijing Organising Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad's Executive Vice-President Yang Shuan.

The delegation today updated the committee on Hong Kong's preparations for the equestrian events and the torch relay. Mrs Yau also introduced the concepts and plans of erecting Olympic Live Sites in Hong Kong at Victoria and Sha Tin Parks to broadcast Olympic competitions on giant screens.

The delegation includes Deputy Secretaries for Home Affairs Donald Tong and Agnes Allcock, Director of Leisure & Cultural Services Thomas Chow, and Assistant Director of Leisure & Cultural Services Cynthia Liu. They will return to Hong Kong on February 19.
