Woman prosecuted for illegal poultry keeping

Agriculture, Fisheries & Conservation Department

A woman faces a fine of up to $100,000 for illegally keeping 18 live chickens in her Kai Leng Village house in Fanling.

 

She was prosecuted today after Agriculture, Fisheries & Conservation Department officers seized the birds during an inspection on January 7. They were transported to the department's animal management centre for testing and later put down.
