Woman with norovirus symptoms isolated
*
Hospital Authority

Another woman patient of Kowloon Hospital's psychiatric ward has been isolated after coming down with vomiting and diarrhoea today. The 68-year-old is in stable condition.

Eight male patients aged 67 to 93 from a medical extended care ward and six female patients aged 49 to 96 and a staff member from a psychiatric ward have come down with symptoms. Thirteen patients tested positive for norovirus.

The hospital has enhanced infection control measures and admission to these wards has been suspended, including visits to the wards' isolated cubicle. Other patients in the wards are under close surveillance.
