All 48 Hong Kong Flower Show 2008 commercial stalls have been let through auction, bringing in total revenue of $1.56 million, the Leisure & Cultural Services Department says.
The flower show will be staged from March 14 to 24 at Victoria Park. For the flower show, 34 goods and four dry-food stalls each measuring 25 square metres, and four goods and six fast-food stalls each measuring 50 square metres were up for auction today.
The successful bid prices for the 25-square-metre goods stalls ranged from $28,000 to $39,000, with an average price at $30,735, against an upset price of $14,400. The successful bid prices for the 50-square-metre goods stalls ranged from $56,100 to $65,100, with an average price at $58,825, against an upset price of $28,800.
For the fast-food stalls, the successful bid prices ranged $20,100 to $42,100, with an average price at $29,250, against an upset price of $19,200. The successful bid prices for the dry-food stalls ranged from $17,200 to $35,600, with an average price at $26,275, against an upset price of $9,600.
