The Centre for Food Safety has suspended applications to import poultry and poultry products from Poland after confirmation of H5N1 cases at two farms there.

The centre will seek further information from Polish authorities.

Hong Kong imported about 5,900 tonnes of frozen poultry products from Poland from January to August.
